The Showroom

has been here as a Luxaflex Window Fashion Gallery since 1996. Rodney reopened the store in September of 2015 and has been servicing the south of the river community since.
As an Exclusive Luxaflex Window Fashion Gallery we had numerous customers ask, “Can we do curtains and sheers as well? After enough enquiries, we thought why not! So, we branched out into curtains, sheers and accessories in 2018.

Meet The Team

Shannon - Sales and Admin

Shannon is the face you see in the showroom, taking care of the behind the scenes stuff. She will talk you through all products, identifying your specific needs & directing you to the best product for your situation.
With over 9 years’ experience in the Window covering industry from her time at another familiar window covering Company. Customer service and organisation are second nature in her day to day duties.
Shannon has a passion for Gardening & hobby photography, you will notice the showrooms plant collection which are her babies.

Rodney - Owner

Rodney, store owner/sales consultant & part time installer, has worked with Luxaflex for over 14 years. Coming from a trade/manufacturing background & previous time as the Operations Manager for another well know Blind Company while it still manufactured in WA. Rodney brings expert knowledge on technical aspects which others may not see. Known for finding solutions for client’s which other Window Furnishing Companies have washed their hands of. A huge fan of anything sport or boating, will see him chatting for days, so if you are in a hurry don’t mention either subject.

Claire - Sales Assistant

Claire joined us in October 2020, coming from a Wine Sales background. Deciding on a product change she has excelled at learning all things Window Furnishings.
Recently completing an Interior Design Course, she is fantastic at assisting with colour selection, product practicality & style.
She is also willing to offer Wine selection ideas if needed 🙂

How much cleaning do window treatments require?
Each style of window treatment will have its own cleaning requirements, some more frequent or labour intensive than others.
Can you block out all light and noise?
Our curtain, blind & shutter ranges can offer room darkening and block out options. Light like water will find a way if there are gaps. These of course can be minimised as best possible with certain products. Unlike other window treatment companies, we do not claim to provide a 100% block out as this would be misleading.
Can the window treatments be automated?
We have a whole range of blinds, curtains and shutters that can be automated and controlled through a controller or mobile app, or even set to change at certain times of day or depending on light levels.
What should I consider when thinking about window treatments?
The main things are use and look. How much light or noise needs to be blocked out? How big are the windows? Will the treatment be a design feature? Are there children or pets? The best idea is to speak to one of our experienced consultants who can make sure you don't miss anything.
What is the best type of window treatment?
Because of the differences in light, space and use of the rooms of your home, plus additional factors like budget, there is no one solutions that fits all. Having access to a range of curtains, blinds and shutters gives you a range to choose from.
